Selkirk WEST Centre is located at 511 Robinson Ave in the Selkirk and District Community Learning Centre. Training can also take place at company and union sites as negotiated.

Effective Communication In the Workplace- Arborg and Gimli
SESSION 1 – EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn tips to change your communication strategy, leading to improvements in employee motivation, productivity, and profitability.

TOPICS COVERED:

The process of effective communication.  The Importance of seeking clarity.  Positive and corrective feedback.  Understanding different communication styles.  Respectful listening and responding.  Positive employee appreciation and recognition. 

SESSION TWO – CONFLICT MANAGEMENT AND RESOLUTION:

This second session of the communication workshop will give you tools to manage conflict wisely and effectively in the workplace.  Continue to increase your communication skills and gain confidence in managing those hard conversations.

Dealing with difficult situations effectively to achieve positive outcomes.  Understanding positive workplace conflict.  What is your personality and communication style and how to modify it for better possible outcomes?
