New Learners, Workplace Partnerships
Before you start class, you’ll be asked to take Skills Checks/Assessments. This will be one of the 4 we offer here: GROW, Snapshot, Apprenticeship (MTWEM), & PSRA Assessment. We do this so we have a better idea of what program/assignments are best for you.
Once you’re done, we’ll go over the results with you and build a plan that suits your goals.

Land Acknowledgment
We at MEET acknowledge that our work and presence occur on Treaty territory, across the lands of Treaties No. 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5. This is the traditional and ancestral territories of many Indigenous Nations including: the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Dakota Oyate, Dene, Denesuline, & the Homeland of the Red River Métis and the ancestral lands of the Inuit.
We acknowledge that Winnipeg water is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation in Treaty Three Territory, and that most of our hydro-electricity comes from Treaty Five Territory in northern Manitoba.
These acknowledgments are a reminder of the ongoing impacts of colonialism and a commitment to learning from and working in respectful partnership with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities.
I invite reflection on our individual relationships to this land and how we can contribute to reconciliation through respect, learning, meaningful action, and genuine partnership with Indigenous Peoples.

Our main office is in Winnipeg, on the downtown Skywalk, at 250-240 Graham Ave. Our Hours are weekdays from *9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We’re also open for some evening and weekend classes. *After 3 pm, our front door is locked. Please give us a light knock to let us know you’re here.
