Who We Are
Workplace Education Manitoba is a leader in providing flexible training and assessment responses across Manitoba.
Our team includes representation in each region of the province. We deliver in person, online, or a mix of the two, depending on what works for you. Skills for Success training contributes to measurable gains including increased employee retention and productivity, maximizing efficiency and building engagement. Whether it be towards employment, technical training or in the workplace, we are a partner that works with you.

Our vision is for Manitoba employers to have a skilled workforce that is efficient, effective and adaptable. We want to help ensure that their workers — both existing and future ones too! — have the Essential Skills required for success.

Skills for Success are the skills needed to participate and thrive in learning, work and life. This new framework is a refresh of the Essential Skills Framework.
How is WEM different?
Workplace Education Manitoba’s foundational approach and philosophy is based on understanding the local needs, meeting workplaces and people where they are. A conversation is how our partnership begins to understand your needs. Whether you are a workplace, Indigenous community, non-profit organization or an individual looking to move forward, we are partners in this venture, defining the Skills for Success needed and moving forward together.

WEM supports every geographical region of Manitoba.
With 10 regionally located WEM Centres in Pembina Valley, Southeast, Westman, Interlake Parkland, Winnipeg and the North, regionally relevant Essential Skills responses are at hand.
